Sunday School

For the entire family, Sunday School begins at 10:30 a.m. Children enter the worship hall with their family until after the children's sermon, when they depart for their classes.  Children's Sunday School then commences at 10:45 a.m.

 

We also offer Adult Bible Study at 9:00 a.m.   Children over six years old can learn music at the Children's choir rehearsal that begins at 9:15 a.m., except during summer months.  

 

Child care

During Sunday School, beginning at 10:30 a.m., child care is provided for children three years of age and under (10:30 - 11:30 a.m.).  Children three and over can participate in the Biblical educational Sunday school program or worship with their parents if they choose.  Any child is welcome to sit with their family in church, as we have an open church policy.

 

Celebration of Worship

Family worship is every week at 10:30 a.m. and is generally blended in nature, combining the traditional and contemporary. Music is provided by our talented church musicians and choir (and sometimes by members of the congregation!).

Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month. All baptized believers are welcome to receive this sacrament, regardless of your church affiliation.

Individual prayer concerns and joys can be shared through yellow cards in each pew rack. Ushers will collect any concerns and joys that you wish to share, as the children go to attend their Sunday School classes. We also provide a prayer chain for any specific prayer requests you may have.

Each Sunday, the children are invited forward for a special Children’s Sermon during Worship, given by Rev. Mike Brewer. 

Afterward, the children may choose to attend their Sunday School classes.  Children who are baptized and who wish to participate in Holy Communion are welcome to participate in the sacrament.  Sunday school will bring the children to the church hall to participate during this time.
