About the Organization:

Hospice of Cincinnati provides professional, comprehensive, compassionate and personalized care to terminally ill people and their loved ones during the patient’s illness, after death, and through bereavement. Care is provided in the home, in one of their three in-patient care centers, or in long term care facilities. Health care professionals and trained volunteers respect the wishes of patients and families while promoting quality of life and preserving dignity. Hospice care is available to patents of any age, religion, race, or illness. Hospice of Cincinnati is the nation’s fourth oldest Hospice and the oldest in the Cincinnati area. Fernside, the Center for Grieving Children, is now part of Hospice of Cincinnati. Fernside offers peer support and family support groups for children who have lost a parent or sibling. BAPC has a long-standing history and involvement with Hospice.
